View Reports
Access the Report
To view the results of your study:
- Open the study from the Dashboard
- Go to the "Report" tab
Reports are generated in real time. Every time you record an observation, charts and metrics update automatically.
Summary Panel
The first section shows the key metrics:
Report Sections
The report includes several sections:
| Section | Content |
|---|---|
| Standard Time | Standard time calculation with time unit and cycles/hour selector |
| Summary | Main metrics, study progress |
| Pie Chart | Distribution by category or task |
| Bar Chart | Comparison between work stations or tasks |
| Detailed Table | Numerical data for each task |
| Statistics | Confidence interval, study validity |
Results Table
The table shows the breakdown for each task:
| Task | Category | Obs. | % | Hours/day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Assembling | Productive | 145 | 37.7% | 3.0h |
| Preparing | Productive | 92 | 23.9% | 1.9h |
| Waiting for material | Delay | 58 | 15.1% | 1.2h |
| Conversing | Non-productive | 23 | 6.0% | 0.5h |
Available Filters
You can filter the data for specific analyses:
- By work station: Analyse a specific worker
- By dates: Compare different periods
- By category: Productive only, delays only, etc.
Standard Time Calculation
The first section of the report is Standard Time Calculation, a tool that lets you determine the standard time of the operation from the study data.
Input Data
To perform the calculation, you must provide:
- Start / End Date and Time: The time range to analyse.
- Units Produced: How many units were manufactured in that range.
- Time Type: Whether the filter uses the planned time or the actual observation time.
- Time Unit: The unit in which results will be expressed.
Time Unit Selector
You can choose the unit of measure for all time calculations from the following options:
Calculation Results
Once you press Calculate, the system shows:
The values for Total Time, Normal Time and Standard Time are shown in the selected unit.
The label in parentheses (e.g. min, h, cmin) updates dynamically based on your selection.
The Cycles / Hour field indicates how many units can be produced per hour based on the calculated standard time. This value is always expressed in units per hour, regardless of the selected time unit.
โ ๏ธ Requirement
To calculate the standard time, the productive observations in the selected range must have a pace rating recorded. Without this data, the calculation cannot be performed.
Real-Time Update
Reports update automatically every time:
- You record a new observation
- You edit an existing observation
- You sync data from another device
๐ก Minimum requirement
Reports will show data from the first observation. However, for the results to be statistically valid, you need to reach the minimum number of observations configured.
๐ฏ Next Step
You now know where to find the reports. In the next lesson we will learn how to interpret the charts in depth.
