Productivity Reports and Analysis

Data visualization and statistical metrics

Overview

The Reports module transforms your observations into actionable insights. Visualize the distribution of time, identify inefficiencies and support decisions with objective data.

Executive Summary Panel

When accessing the "Report" tab, the first thing you'll see is a summary with key metrics:

Interactive Charts

Pie Chart

Shows the percentage distribution of time by category or by task:

  • View by category: Productive vs. Non-productive vs. Delay
  • View by task: Detailed breakdown of each activity
  • Tooltips: Hover to see the exact percentage
  • Interactive legend: Click to hide/show segments

Bar Chart

Ideal for comparisons between:

  • Work stations: Which station is most productive?
  • Tasks: Which activities consume the most time?
  • Periods: Comparison between weeks or days

Automatically Calculated Metrics

Percentage per Task

For each task, the system calculates:

  • Number of observations in that task
  • Percentage of total time
  • Confidence interval (according to configured confidence level)

Standard Time

If you configure daily working hours, the system calculates how many hours per day are spent on each activity:

Hours per task = (% of task × Hours worked per day) / 100

Example: 25% × 8 hours = 2 hours dedicated to that task

Global Productivity Index

The percentage of observations in productive tasks over the total:

  • >80%: Excellent efficiency
  • 60-80%: Normal in most industries
  • <60%: Significant improvement opportunity

Detailed Data Table

In addition to charts, you have access to a complete table with:

Table Functionalities

  • Sort: Click on headers to sort by column
  • Filter: By station, category or date range
  • Search: Find specific tasks

Advanced Filters

You can filter report data by:

  • Date range: Analyze specific periods
  • Work station: Isolate a station for detailed analysis
  • Task type: Only productive, only delays, etc.
  • Worker: If you configured individual workers

Statistical Analysis

Confidence Interval

For each result, the system calculates the confidence interval:

68% ± 4.7%

Productive time with 95% confidence between 63.3% and 72.7%

Study Validity

The system indicates whether your study has a sufficient number of observations to be statistically valid according to the parameters you configured (confidence level and error margin).

💡 Result interpretation

  • ✓ Identify the 2-3 biggest delays for immediate improvement actions
  • ✓ Compare results with industry benchmarks
  • ✓ Prioritize eliminating delays before tackling non-productive time
  • ✓ Delays are usually systemic problems, not worker fault

Charts and metrics update automatically every time you register a new observation. You don't need to refresh the page.
